映画『ミッション』のために作曲された原曲に，サラ・ブライトマンが歌詞をつけ，持ち歌としました．その後ブライトマン以外の多くの歌手にもカバーされるようになりました．

メロディーも素晴らしいですが，歌詞にもそれに劣らぬ美しさがあります．というか，歌詞が曲に命を吹き込んだ，という方が適切かもしれません．
