We must spread not indifference, not disregard, not callousness to the well-being of others, but tenderness, mercy, compassion, symapthy and service. He whose soul is awakened cannot be indifferent to the sufferings of others. His brother's pains are his pains and his brother's sorrows are his sorrows. (p. 56)
